A family friendly activity outdoors, for those perfect spring days.
This past Sunday we visited a great place for families with kids age 4 and up to experience climbing, zip lining and more. Parco Avventura Cavaioni is a stones throw away from the city, nestled in the Bolognese hills. It’s easy to get to with ample parking and has something for everyone.
Tickets are available to purchase here on their website: https://www.cavaionipark.it and once you have bought them, they are valid for the whole season. Check their opening days and times and turn up whenever you like. Accompanying parents don’t pay, that is unless they want to play too! There are the ‘baby’ routes to suit very small children, ‘junior’ routes for, say age 5/6 and up, and then routes fit for anyone over 140cm tall.
The staff are incredibly friendly, professional and great at keeping parents and children calm and safe. All safety equipment is provided and once you’re in, you have 3 hours to play around in the trees, enjoying the routes as many times as you can!
If you’ve worked up an appetite after all that exercise, there’s a great restaurant (and in fact another adventure park) right next-door called Ca’shin. We are planning to explore these very soon! For now here is a video of our experience at Parco Avventura Cavaioni:
